Best protein supplement i foundThis product is great. I like the taste and its excellent for anyone with gut or intestinal issues. Very tolerable. Not sure i like that reviewers are getting paid to leave good reviews and more for upvotes. It makes all of the reviews suspect IMHO.
If you like goat cheese you will like this protein powder. I don't find the taste to be too tangy or gamey at all, it mixes nicely with oat or coconut milk. This is a really nice quality protein powder but it is a bit expensive to use alone. I've been mixing it with whey isolate and have been happy with it this way.
You need to use a blender to mix up this powder and even then its still chunky, doesn't matter what you mix it with. It's protein powder sure but this double rich chocolate flavor is probably the worst I've had and I don't think I'm going to finish it purely because of how nasty the flavor is. I expected everything to not be perfect as its protein powder it will be a little bit chunky and have a kinda off flavor, but jeez this stuff is hard to get down and the after taste is god awful. The chunky bits of whatever stick on the side of your cup and have no good taste whatsoever.
REALLY wanted to love this but unfortunately my histamine intolerance ruined that for me! Otherwise it’s an amazing product with high quality ingredients. No junk added, fermented to promote a healthy gut microbiome, and taken from happy healthy goats. Not cheap but I wouldn’t expect it to be, for what you’re getting.
The ingredients are great & I really like that this contains both whey and casein because I exercise in the late afternoon/evening, so I like to have the quicker digesting whey post-workout & then the slower digesting casein for overnight muscle recovery. I usually always mix my protein powder with water & drink on my way home from the gym, but the flavor is bland & it doesn’t taste “creamy” like other protein powders. Not horrible flavor, but definitely hard to drink in 8-12oz of water. I started mixing it with my regular whey protein to make it more palatable. Would be great added to something like a smoothie. It’s also pretty expensive, but I suppose that is kind of to be expected for the quality/ingredients (especially if you don’t tolerate traditional protein powders, which I personally don’t have issues with).
This is much easier on my stomach than other weigh protein powders I have tried, happy that the fermented goat milk formulation is truly easier on the stomach! The flavor is a bit strong for me, but if you like kefir or strong probiotic straight yogurt I think it is a bit similar taste and you would be fine with it. I like mixing with water or drinkable yogurt and making into a paste to eat with fruit.
