Excellent!The quality looks good.I was looking for a healthier ingredient alternative for making noodles & this was perfect use. The spaghetti has a neutral taste. Tasted like normal spaghetti to me. After making the Size increased sue to boiling I rinsed the noodles under cold water & sprinkled some olive oil to coat the noodles to prevent sticking. Recipe suggestion: I added onion, garlic, sambal oelek/ spicy chilli paste, bok choy, egg whites & soy sauce to the noodles. It was delicious.

Delicious spaghetti. I really like the flavour of cassava and these spaghettis are no exception. They mix well with any type of sauce like regular spaghetti but they are easier on the digestive system. I made them with tomatoes and ground beef as spaghetti bolognese and they were a hit, including with my picky three year old! A great option if you are looking for good gluten free pasta.
Great price and taste for the size of the package. I like that the ingredients (cassava) are a bit different from your typical wheat pasta and so I use this to add some variety to my kid's diet. I also recommend the other pasta shapes from this brand (the cassava orzo as a rice alternative, for example).
For people with more than celiac, being intolerant of all grains, nuts and seeds, cassava (from the maniok plant) is a rare ingredient that is tolerated. The taste is a little bit coarser than GF but with lots of veggies and sauce not noticeable. I use a much smaller portion (25-50 grams, 1-2 oz) so a package lasts longer. Jovial is the only quality brand that makes cassava pasta, with a look and feel that doesn't make me feel like I miss out on anything. Because I use so little, a small size pot is all I need (less dishes!)
Ever since I stopped eating grains I have missed pastadishes. Zucchini noodles have made a toelrable subsitute, but when I found this I was so excited! The texture and taste compares to regular pasta, and I have enjoyed having me pasta bolognese again! I like that the pasta comes in different varieties too, spaghetti, elbows, bows etc. Added bonus that it's organic of course. Well done Jovial!!
