This ground cayenne pepper has a nice hot taste and a long spicy aftertaste. It almost like fresh pepper. I absolutely love it! Be careful and wash your hands if pepper get on it, this cayenne can burn skin a little. The jar is plastic but it has handy metall lid with 3 sizes of holes to regulate the amount of pepper.

I prefer organic. A few times I've purchased also non-organic but never ordinary spices because they are irradiated. Actually, my only "ordinary" spice happens to be Frontier Co-op, Crushed Chili Peppers, and next time I'll choose organic. This Frontier Co-op chili is any way non irrattiated. CGN Organic Cayenne is just what cayenne is supposed to be. Very tasty, very strong.

Good value and quality. The packaging is okay as it provides various size holes to dispense the herb, however, I sometimes find it annoying to have to shake so many times to get some out. Also, be mindful of shaking the herbs into a steaming pot as the moisture ends up getting trapped into the bottle and can make it become a solid clump.

The product is good and I also liked the lid, which has 3 different sizes of holes. But I was a little disappointed that the jar is made of soft plastic, I expected it to be glass. Well, my bad... should have read other reviews.
