This is the second product I order from this brand. I have written before that I am satisfied with the consistency and how well it dissolves. It has a pleasant vanilla aroma, but the taste disappointed me a little - I expected it to be thicker and richer like strawberry protein. But this is by no means a disadvantage. The products of this brand are of high quality, I order on the recommendation of a friend.

Great protein, excellent taste and high-quality nutrients. It has only 1g of sugar; this is the main reason I purchased this product. It is pricey compared to other product. I think it's worth it. Highly recommended!

This review if for two products: AllMax Pure Whey Protein Isolate IsoFlex Vanilla and Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey (Various Vanilla flavors) I bounce back and forth between them for a variety of reasons explained below. I hope this review helps you make an accurate choice. Both have impressive Nutritional numbers but the AllMax is better with 0 cholesterol, 0 total fat, 2% sodium and 27 grams of protein per 30 grams of powder. Optimum Nutrition has 12% cholesterol, 1% total fat, 5% sodium and 24 grams of protein per 31 grams of powder. I am on a low sodium, low cholesterol, low calorie, high protein diet so AllMax suits me perfectly. Some other reviewers have complained of artificial ingredients. From what research I could perform I found out these were for flavor and to keep the sugar level down. This is a trade-off I accept for the benefits of lower calories, sodium, etc. If you don’t agree you may want to go with the Optimum Nutrition which does not use artificial ingredients. AllMax is more expensive by $20 for 5pound. Pricey but since the Nutritional numbers are so good I think it’s worth it when I have the money. When I don’t have the money I buy the Optimum Nutrition. The biggest difference between the two is the taste. I mix the recommended serving size (1 scoop, scoop provided inside container) into the milk for my breakfast cereal. Optimum Nutrition has a powerful vanilla flavor. In fact, it made my bowl of breakfast cereal taste like dessert. That was great for a while but then it became too much of a good thing. Kinda like eating Thanksgiving dinner everyday. You think you want it until you get it every day and then it gets old quickly because it is just too much all the time. AllMax has a more subtle vanilla flavor. In fact, as some people have stated in other reviews the taste is a little synthetic. To me it has a slight coconut flavor. This is OK since I mix it with the milk in my breakfast cereal. The subtle taste allows me to still taste the cereal but with a hint of vanilla. I would thus suggest that if you need/like a lot of flavor go with the Optimum Nutrition. If you are looking for a more subtle, less obtrusive flavor go with the AllMax. Both mix well with no clumps but the AllMax dissolves a bit better by itself. Both seem to provide the same result muscle building-wise. Delivery was very prompt and accurate. This is my first purchase from iHerb and I was impressed with the website and the quick/accurate delivery.

I usually order chocolate flavor, but decided to try vanilla this purchase. Compared to chocolate flavor, this one is slightly lower in calories while still offering the same amount of protein. Taste is not cloyingly sweet, it dissolves well in water, and smells great - mixing with freeze-dried coffee granules pares down the sweetness if you prefer it less sweet-tasting. It also mixes well with cacao. Overall, happy with the taste, smell, mix-ability and will buy again.

You can't go wrong with isoflex might be a bit pricey but for a 30g scoop you getting 27g of Protein and good amount of Bcaa's. As taste I have only tried the vanilla taste really good
