pure form of turmeric but be cautiousThis seems to be the purest form of this supplement and something i was expecting Now Foods to release. I have almost finished my first bottle and i can say that it does help with my inflammatory condition. I will be back with a more definitive review after i have finished my botlle and test my condition with it and without it to have a better picture. I have not seen something particularely negative so far and it is easy to consume. update: After 2 and a half months of taking 1ml a day, I noticed some kidney related side effects I assume because of the high oxalate content of turmeric. It would be useful if Now Foods mentioned the oxalate content on the label. For this reason i will give 1 star less to my initial review and i hope this issue get's sorted out.
I've been taking turmeric powder for several years and wanted a break from the mouthful of paste. Decided to try this and WOW I wish I had done this sooner. It is a lot easier to take. It seems to work a lot better than the powder did, I actually notice a difference with my inflammation when I take this but rarely noticed even the slightest difference with the powder.
Loved this so far, it is easy to consume by mixing it in with water. (Dont try this pure, because it is alcohol based and burns a little from the turmeric. I would highly suggest taking this supplement with some black pepper tho!! It helps to absorb the nutrients from the turmeric! I‘ve been trying to reduce my acne with this, and it might be helping I think.
My husband and I drink it daily in a glass of water. I researched turmeric and read about all the important benefits with lowering cholesterol and blood pressure plus reducing swelling and joint pain, from which my husband was struggling. I'd like the fact there are no side effects and that we can consume it in this concentrated form with water. We expect only good things!
